What started as an informal network became a structured organization in 1998 and today numbers more than 500 members - all with vision and leadership roles. HOW TO JOIN
Membership is open to women (and men) employed by a science, technology, healthcare or service provider company that is an Athena sponsor. Both Executive and Associate categories require submission of an online application screened by a membership committee (four to six weeks for processing). Those seeking to join at the Associate level also require the sponsorship of a current Athena member.
