A merit award created to honor those who have made significant and lasting contributions to Athena and/or San Diego Community in:

• membership or sponsorship growth
• development of programs
• new strategies and initiatives

Individuals chosen for this special award are exemplary in their support for, and execution of, the mission and goals of Athena. This is not an annual award; given only when a deserving candidate is identified.

Eligible are Athena members as well as community leaders who, by their leadership and actions, show outstanding support of the Athena mission. Nominations can come from the Athena board or by members at large (via an e-mail to the Athena President).
