Eligible for Athena Merit Scholarships are graduating high school women planning to attend a four-year university with a career goal in the sciences (science, math, engineering, computer science).

Students must submit an online scholarship application, an official copy of their high-school transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a counselor or teacher at their school.

Selection criteria includes demonstrated academic excellence, leadership in school organizations, and significant community involvement.
