The Athena Technology Affinity Group has been formed to develop and implement strategies to enhance the representation and advancement of women in technology fields. Our vision is to provide a thriving, supportive professional community that is committee to help each member realize her full career potential. Our objectives include the implementation of creative and tailored strategies that will accomplish the following goals:

To strengthen within our culture those values and procedures that support equality of opportunity and honor diversity of opinion
To develop targeted mentoring, training and support mechanisms to encourage all member to attain their full career potential
To develop recruitment and retention strategies that will enhance the representation of women in technology
To expand our efforts to identify women with leadership potential and provide them with opportunities and resources to further their careers
To provide a caring and supportive form work/life balance issues that are common to all women in technology.
